(TONJ COUNTY) – Residents of Tonj Town in Warrap State can now access mobile network services for the first time following the launch of Digitel South Sudan in the area. The initiative aims to connect the community to reliable digital communication and expand access to mobile services across the state.
Digitel South Sudan announced that the new site will provide high quality network coverage, enabling residents to make calls, send messages and use internet services locally. The company encouraged citizens to obtain Digitel SIM cards to benefit from the enhanced connectivity.
According to Digitel, the launch in Tonj Town is part of wider corporate efforts to bridge the digital divide in South Sudan and improve access to communication services in previously underserved areas.
The telecom operator says the move will support social and economic development by allowing residents to stay connected and access information more efficiently.
