(CHEBOKSARY, CHUVASH REPUBLIC) – A Ukrainian missile strike has destroyed a critical Russian defence production facility in Cheboksary, deep inside the Chuvash Republic, in the early hours of 10 June 2026. The FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile successfully hit the VNIIR-Progress plant, a site responsible for manufacturing sophisticated components for Russian weaponry. The facility produced unique and complex parts for the navigation systems of Russian Shahed drones, Kalibr cruise missiles and Iskander ballistic missiles.
