(MOSCOW REGION, RUSSIA) \u2013 <\/span>Footage has emerged online showing a drone strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya, a facility that supplies approximately 40 percent of the fuel needs of Moscow and the surrounding region.<\/span><\/p>\n

The video<\/a>, which captures the moment a drone struck the oil refinery, was filmed in the third quarter of Kapotnya. The enterprise ranks among the ten largest refineries in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

This facility was previously attacked by drones on the night of 1 September 2024. During that strike, the Euro+ unit was damaged. The unit has a capacity of six million tonnes per year, accounting for roughly half of the plant’s total oil refining capacity.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Moscow region, following a nighttime unmanned aerial vehicle attack on 17 May, the Solnechnogorsk filling station caught fire. The facility forms part of the main fuel system encircling Moscow.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was also reported that three people were killed in the Moscow region as a result of a mass drone attack, with others injured and residential buildings damaged.<\/span><\/p>\n
