(KYIV, UKRAINE)<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 A major Ukrainian defence manufacturer is facing a large scale raider attack that could halt production of key strike weapons, an aviation expert has warned.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fire Point, the company behind Flamingo missiles and deep strike ballistics used against Russian territory, is under systematic assault aimed not merely at seizing control but at destroying the enterprise entirely, according to aviation expert Kostyantyn Kryvolap.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There are all the signs that an ordinary raider attack is being carried out against the Fire Point company,” Kryvolap stated on the “Seichas” YouTube channel. “The goal of this attack is not just to intercept the management of this company, but to destroy this company altogether. Because they have taken on very serious, very powerful ambitious plans.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Fire Point ranks among Ukraine’s key strike weapons manufacturers. Its portfolio includes FP-1 drones already used to strike targets inside the Russian Federation, alongside further developments such as FP-2 and the FP-7 missile project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kryvolap noted that the medium range ballistic missile FP-7 could serve as a cheaper alternative to Western weapons, enabling Ukraine to strike Russian territory without political restrictions or foreign permission.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In terms of its characteristics, it is similar to ATACMS, but it is three to four times cheaper,” he said. “And it is not limited by the restrictions that apply to ATACMS. For every ATACMS strike on Russian territory, we had to get some kind of permission. Here, no permissions are needed; we just do it wherever we want. But this missile, which should have been operational by now, is being held back by various means.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The company had also announced the FREYA project, a European anti ballistic shield system in which Fire Point is to supply the missile component and control system. Kryvolap said the project is being developed with European partners and could become strategic for the entire continent.<\/span><\/p>\n

The expert believes these ambitious defence projects may have triggered the pressure campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n

“When I ask myself who the beneficiary of this raider attack is, these beneficiaries could be, first of all, Putin himself with his gang, that’s clear. And they will throw everything possible into this flame that is meant to consume Fire Point,” Kryvolap stated.<\/span><\/p>\n

He further suggested that American companies backed by the US administration, including Lockheed Martin, may be involved in orchestrating the raider attack as they feel competition from the Ukrainian firm.<\/span><\/p>\n

A systematic smear campaign is being waged against Fire Point, Kryvolap said, involving public bodies and anti corruption agencies. He claimed the Anti Corruption Action Center took Fire Point’s blueprints and documentation, approaching embassies with allegations that co-owner Denys Shtylerman is a fraud and the company itself is questionable.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Anti Corruption Action Center took Fire Point’s blueprints and documentation to pass them on to I don’t know whom. They went to embassies, saying that Shtylerman is a fraudster, and the Fire Point company is something unclear,” Kryvolap remarked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the pressure, European governments continue to work with Fire Point. Norway and Germany signed defence partnerships after the company passed verification and compliance checks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kryvolap also stated that during funding discussions, certain government representatives demanded that funds not be allocated to specific defence programmes. He said this directly harms Ukraine’s defence industry under wartime conditions. An option is reportedly being considered to seize the company and transfer it to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes, known as ARMA, a move the expert warns could shut the enterprise down.<\/span><\/p>\n

The situation, Kryvolap stressed, has moved far beyond a corporate dispute and now touches national security, defence industrial development and Ukraine’s ability to produce its own long range weapons systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Let the bodies that are supposed to handle corruption cases do so. But if this is a matter of our defence capability, then right now Fire Point is simply being stalled at all levels,” the expert concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n
