The incident<\/a> was reported by UNN, citing local social media channels. Details emerging from monitoring reports indicate the target was the Poltava oil depot.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reports described the site as an active facility for the storage and transshipment of petroleum products with a reservoir capacity of about 15,000 cubic metres. The depot serves road and rail fuel supply routes, with its main suppliers being the refineries of the Lukoil group.<\/span><\/p>\n

The attack on the Krasnodar Krai facility comes amid a series of confirmed strikes by Ukrainian forces on military and logistics targets within Russian territory. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously confirmed<\/a> successful strikes on the Volgograd Refinery, the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station, a Tor-M2 air defence system, a logistics warehouse, and enemy drone control points.<\/span><\/p>\n

This latest operation follows recent assessments of damage to Russian energy infrastructure.
