(VORONEZH, RUSSIA)<\/span><\/strong> – Ukrainian forces have struck a semiconductor manufacturing plant in the Russian city of Voronezh with Storm Shadow cruise missiles, recording four impacts at the facility, according to open source assessments and video footage circulating online.<\/span><\/p>\n

The factory produces components used in Russia’s Kh-101 cruise missiles and Iskander-M ballistic missiles, both of which have been widely deployed against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure including apartment buildings and schools. The facility also manufactures semiconductors for S-400 and Pantsir surface-to-air missile systems, which Russian forces use for air defence operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Video footage of the aftermath shows thick smoke rising from multiple sections of the targeted building, indicating significant damage. Open source intelligence analysts have assessed four distinct impacts at the site, with damage patterns consistent with precision guided munitions. The strike was carried out at a range of approximately 190 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, according to geolocated assessments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Storm Shadow missiles, which are known for their accuracy, were identified as the likely weapon used. Analysts noted that the impact pattern along the length of the building was consistent with Storm Shadow’s precision capabilities, distinguishing it from less accurate systems such as the Neptune cruise missile.<\/span><\/p>\n
