(STARAYA RUSSA, NOVGOROD OBLAST) –<\/strong> Satellite imagery indicates that a recent Ukrainian strike hit the 123rd Aircraft Repair Plant at Staraya Russa airbase in Russia\u2019s Novgorod region, with three direct impacts recorded on a hangar used for servicing military aircraft.<\/p>\n

The facility is known to conduct maintenance and repairs on Russian aircraft and is considered a significant component of Russia\u2019s aviation support infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Initial reports suggest the strike was carried out by drones, although the exact systems used have not been officially confirmed. Imagery shows three separate impacts penetrating the roof of a hangar, with explosions occurring inside the structure.<\/p>\n

The pattern of damage has led to some uncertainty over the type of weapon employed. The limited external destruction appears inconsistent with heavier missile systems such as Storm Shadow or Neptune, which typically produce more extensive structural damage.<\/p>\n
