Writing on social media platform X, he called for joint efforts towards a more sovereign Europe focused on security, competitiveness and democratic values.<\/p>\n

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz<\/span><\/span> also congratulated Magyar on his election success, noting that Hungarian voters had made a clear decision. He said he looked forward to working together and called for strengthened cooperation to ensure a secure and united Europe.<\/p>\n
