(MOSCOW, RUSSIA) – A presenter on a Russian state aligned radio programme has criticised a public figure after she issued a video message addressed to the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, reflecting tensions within pro Kremlin media over public commentary.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the programme \u201cFull Contact\u201d, host Vladimir Solovyov mocked and dismissed remarks made by blogger Victoria Bonya, who had recorded an appeal directed at the Russian leadership.<\/p>\n
The broadcast opened with a satirical segment depicting a fictional aircraft incident involving references to international politics, including the United States and the Strait of Hormuz. The segment featured exaggerated dialogue about a plane in distress, reportedly struck by air defence, with passengers discussing fire on board and mechanical failure in an ironic tone.<\/p>\n
Solovyov then turned to Bonya\u2019s video, in which she claimed to speak \u201con behalf of the people\u201d, despite acknowledging she had not been formally asked to do so. In her remarks, she stated that many individuals in Russia, including public figures and officials, were afraid of the country\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
She also cited issues she described as affecting the country, including flooding in Dagestan, environmental pollution on beaches in Anapa, regulatory changes affecting protected wildlife, agricultural measures in the Novosibirsk region and restrictions on internet access.<\/p>\n
Solovyov rejected her claims and questioned her credibility, suggesting that such messages were promoted by what he described as hostile actors. He criticised her use of language and dismissed her assertion that she represented public opinion.<\/p>\n
During the broadcast, the presenter also made personal remarks about Bonya and questioned her connection to Russia, noting that she resides abroad.<\/p>\n
