Local officials acknowledged damage to buildings, while Ukrainian media reported the strike as successful.<\/p>\n
Attention in Russian state aligned media quickly shifted away from the impact of the attack itself and towards the circulation of footage online. Commentators called for those who filmed and shared videos of the blaze to be identified and prosecuted, rather than addressing apparent shortcomings in air defence systems that failed to intercept the drones.<\/p>\n
The footage spread widely on social media platforms, highlighting the scale of the fire and raising questions about the vulnerability of strategic energy infrastructure. Reports described burning oil storage and fuel leaking into surrounding areas, creating hazardous conditions.
