(JUBA) – The Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJOSS) has praised the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) for actively engaging the media to raise awareness about the country’s shift to digital banking.
During a meeting at the BoSS headquarters on Monday, UJOSS Secretary General Majak Daniel Kuany thanked the Bank’s leadership for consistently involving journalists in its initiatives. He said that recent collaborations had helped journalists receive accurate information on digital banking, allowing them to report confidently and inform the public effectively.
BoSS Governor Dr. Addis Ababa Othow Akongdit acknowledged the media’s role in educating the public and encouraged journalists to continue sharing precise information about digital payments.
David Manyuon Nak, the Bank’s Director General for Administration and Human Resources, also expressed gratitude to journalists for their support in promoting financial literacy and public understanding of the digital banking transition.
