(NAIROBI) – The Ministry of Trade and Industry of South Sudan has dispatched a delegation of staff and exhibitors to Nairobi, Kenya, to participate in the 25th East African Community (EAC) Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Trade Fair.
The event runs under the theme: “25 Years of EAC Integration: Advancing Innovation and Regional Value Chains for Competitive MSMEs Towards Sustainable Development.”
The Trade Fair is expected to host over 3,000 exhibitors from across the EAC. Participants will showcase innovations, products, and services in sectors including agribusiness, manufacturing, and trade.
Hon. Ustaz Yel Luol, Undersecretary of the Ministry, led a farewell ceremony for the South Sudan delegation. He encouraged exhibitors to represent the Ministry and the country effectively to attract investors and promote South Sudan’s natural resources.
The Undersecretary emphasised discipline and professionalism during the mission. He also announced plans to personally attend the Trade Fair within the next three days to monitor the country’s representation.
