(JUBA) – The U.S. Embassy in Juba has announced a virtual townhall meeting for U.S. citizens living in South Sudan, emphasising the importance of safety and timely information.
The online event will take place on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at 3:00 p.m. local time. Interested participants must RSVP by Monday, 17 November, at 5:00 p.m. to secure a place. Incomplete registrations will not be accepted. A link to the virtual meeting will be provided to confirmed attendees.
The townhall will offer an opportunity for adult U.S. citizens in South Sudan to engage directly with Embassy officials on key topics, including consular services, personal safety and security, emergency preparedness, and other issues affecting Americans in the country.
Citizens are encouraged to submit questions in advance by contacting ACSJuba@state.gov. The Embassy highlighted that participation will ensure U.S. residents in South Sudan have access to current information and support regarding their safety and well being.
