(Juba) – The Coordination Office of Warrap State in Juba has officially relocated from its previous site in Khor-William (Jebel Suk) to a new temporary location along Ministries Road, near the SPLM Secretariat and directly opposite the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This move confirmed on 30 June 2025 by the State Coordinator, Peter Deng Papdit, is intended to improve public access and streamline operations for citizens and stakeholders engaging with Warrap State institutions at the national level. The new site is expected to serve as a temporary base while a permanent office is being sought.
Deng expressed gratitude to Governor Bol Wek Agoth for honouring his earlier commitment to secure a more central and accessible office in the capital. He described the relocation as a positive development aimed at bringing services closer to the people and enhancing coordination between Warrap State and national government institutions.
“This step demonstrates the Governor’s commitment to effective governance and better service delivery,” said Deng.
He encouraged members of the public and officials who wish to engage with the coordination office to make use of the improved location.
The office will continue to perform its usual administrative functions, including liaising with government departments, following up on Warrap State affairs in Juba, and engaging with development partners.
Inquiries and communication with the office can now be directed to the updated contact lines: +211 928 838 840 or +211 988 838 840.
The relocation follows a broader trend in South Sudan of decentralised state offices setting up satellite operations in Juba to maintain proximity to central ministries, diplomatic offices and national institutions.
The presence of such offices in the capital is seen as essential for strengthening state level representation and ensuring a smoother flow of information between Juba and the states.
The coordination office has assured the public that all services will remain operational without interruption as the search for a permanent site continues.
