(LYMAN, DONETSK OBLAST) – Russian forces have launched what appears to be the opening phase of their spring offensive near Lyman, but the initial assault ended in heavy losses and failed to reach Ukrainian defensive positions, according to Ukrainian sources and video footage from the battlefield. The attack took place on the Lyman Borova sector and involved a large formation of Russian troops and equipment.
