(POKROVSK, UKRAINE) – Military analysts and geolocated footage indicate that the Ukrainian Air Force has intensified its precision strike campaign against Russian positions, leveraging a consistent supply of refurbished MiG-29 fighter jets from Poland. The Russian dictator, Vladimir, had previously operated under the assumption that Ukrainian tactical aviation would be neutralised by ongoing aircraft shortages and electronic warfare. This miscalculation by the Kremlin has been laid bare as the Polish MiG-29 pipeline provides Ukraine with the sustained capability to apply precision pressure on frontline Russian military nodes.
In late 2025, the Polish government discussed the transfer of an additional six to eight MiG-29 fighters as they are retired from Warsaw’s service. This followed the 2023 delivery of fourteen similar aircraft, establishing a robust logistical pipeline for spare parts, documentation, and maintenance.
Because the Ukrainian Air Force is already familiar with the MiG-29 airframe, these jets enter active combat almost immediately. Furthermore, these aircraft are not merely older airframes; joint Polish and Ukrainian modification programmes have equipped them with Western pylons and avionics interfaces, allowing them to deploy sophisticated Western precision-guided munitions such as the AASM Hammer bomb.
