(UKRAINE – KYIV) – Soldiers of the 110th Mechanized Brigade of Ukraine reported the death of a Russian assault trooper who became trapped in defensive obstacles during combat operations. The incident occurred amid ongoing fighting in eastern Ukraine and was captured in video footage released by the brigade on December 7.
The video, shared by the unmanned systems battalion of the 110th Mechanized Brigade, named after General-Cornet Marko Bezruchko, shows an enemy soldier entangled in barbed wire positioned between concrete defensive structures commonly referred to as “dragon’s teeth.” According to the battalion, the trooper died while caught in these obstacles.
In addition to this incident, Ukrainian UAV operators engaged other Russian forces attempting to hide in vegetation and ravines. The battalion stated that their work focused on halting enemy troop movements.
This latest engagement forms part of continued operations in eastern Ukraine, where Russian forces have suffered significant casualties. On December 7 alone, reports indicate that Russia lost approximately 1,080 servicemen in combat.
