(UKRAINE – NOVEMBER 2025) – Ukrainian drone units have reported a highly active month of operations in November, striking key enemy infrastructure across Russian-occupied territories and deep within Russia itself. The Special Drone Forces (SBS) logged 108 combat missions, successfully hitting 88 enemy targets, signalling an intensified use of unmanned aerial systems in the ongoing conflict.
The operations focused on energy, military, and critical industrial sites, particularly oil refineries, pipelines, and power stations. SBS drones targeted a wide array of installations, demonstrating Ukraine’s growing precision-strike capabilities in enemy territory.
Some of the known sites visited during November include:
| Target Type | Location |
|---|---|
| Oil refinery | Saratov |
| Oil refinery | Nizhny Novgorod |
| Oil refinery | Volgograd |
| Oil refinery | Ryazan |
| Oil refinery | Novokuybyshevsk |
| Oil terminal | Black Sea coast |
| Petroleum storage | Unecha |
| Power station | Luhansk |
| Power station | Starobesheve |
| Power station | Zuivka |
| Helicopter and drone base | Crimea |
| Aviation repair plant | Taganrog |
| Gas pipeline | unspecified region |
Several of these operations were conducted jointly with other branches of Ukraine’s armed forces, employing deep-strike capabilities to maximise damage to enemy logistics and energy infrastructure. Analysts note that fuel has become increasingly scarce and energy infrastructure vulnerable in the contested areas, with gasoline, gas, and oil supplies rapidly diminishing due to these strikes.
The operations were carried out by units including the 1st Separate Drone Centre (formerly the 14th SBS Regiment), the 9th Battalion “Kairos” of the 414th Brigade “Birds of Hungary,” and the “Graf” unit of the Drone Forces. The success of these missions highlights the growing coordination and capability of Ukraine’s unmanned systems in targeting enemy critical infrastructure.
