Ukrainian Border Guard Drone Teams Destroy Russian Weapons Near North Kharkiv

(KHARKIV REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian drone operators from the Border Guard Brigade Hart are targeting Russian military equipment on enemy held territory as part of ongoing defensive operations along the northern front.

Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service said the activity took place on the South Slobozhanskyi axis, where Russian forces are using a wide range of weapons to support assault operations against Ukrainian positions.

According to the border guard service press office, reconnaissance strike drone teams from the Hart brigade have been tasked with locating and destroying Russian weapons systems, particularly those positioned on Russian held territory that support attacks on Ukrainian defences.

The operation is complicated by the fact that Russian forces carefully conceal many of their weapons and firing positions. However Ukrainian drone operators have developed the ability to identify hidden sites and track enemy equipment despite camouflage and field fortifications.

During recent combat missions targeting Russian positions, Ukrainian drone teams destroyed six artillery guns, an anti aircraft installation, an automatic mounted grenade launcher, several mortars, and storage facilities containing ammunition and fuel and lubricants.

Ukraine’s Border Guard Service said the Hart brigade continues to operate as part of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and is engaged in ongoing combat to destroy Russian forces and prevent attempts to break through Ukrainian defensive lines in the northern part of Kharkiv region.

The brigade is also seeking volunteers to join its ranks without requiring recruitment through territorial enlistment centres. The unit said it is recruiting specialists in analysis, drone operations, information technology, communications, engineering and medical support.

Interested applicants can contact the brigade through the following telephone numbers: +380 67 192 9839, +380 67 301 0890, and +380 66 983 6864.

The information was released by the press service of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.
