UKRAINIAN UNMANNED SYSTEMS FORCES ESCALATE NIGHT TIME DRONE OPERATIONS

(KYIV) – Ukraine’s newly formed Forces of Unmanned Systems (SBS) have intensified their campaign against Russian logistics and military infrastructure, moving toward a strategy of “regular, systematic strikes,” according to recent operational updates.

The 1st Detached Center of the SBS, operating under the call sign “Madyar’s Birds,” reported a series of successful night time missions conducted with reconnaissance support from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). The operations targeted a range of assets, including military facilities and localized fuel depots, referred to colloquially by personnel as “fill-up stations.”

Robert Brovdi, the commander of the unit known as “Madyar,” stated that the current objective is to maintain a persistent offensive presence rather than merely reacting to enemy movements. “This is about standing firm and protecting, but also delivering regular strikes—not just in retaliation,” Brovdi noted in a statement released Friday.

The unit’s doctrine, described as “using what we have, where we are,” emphasizes the tactical deployment of available drone technology to disrupt Russian movements behind the immediate contact line. The SBS has also introduced a public facing digital dashboard, “Pidrakhuika,” to track confirmed strikes and equipment losses.

Despite the escalating intensity of the conflict and the enemy’s use of “all available means,” the command’s directive to frontline units remains focused on maintaining defensive positions while sustaining a high tempo of unmanned aerial operations.
