(INDIAN OCEAN) – The United States Navy has successfully intercepted and seized the Veronica III, a Venezuelan oil tanker operating as part of Russia’s clandestine shadow fleet. The vessel, which had been pursued for over a month from the Venezuelan coast to the Indian Ocean, was carrying sanctioned oil intended to bolster the economies of Moscow’s allies.
