Ukrainian Drones Strike Tuapse Oil Facility Again

(TUAPSE, KRASNODAR KRAI) – Ukrainian forces have carried out a renewed strike on a strategically important oil loading facility in Tuapse, in Russia’s Krasnodar region, during the night of 20 April, according to Ukrainian military linked source Magyar.

The attack marks a repeat strike on the same site, which had previously been targeted and subjected to three days of firefighting efforts following earlier damage. Those recovery efforts were disrupted by what Ukrainian sources described as a follow-up “remake” strike, effectively prolonging the disruption at the facility.

Ukrainian accounts characterised the operation as a continuation of pressure on critical Russian energy infrastructure, with the latest strike described as extending the impact indefinitely. The situation at the site was likened to a recurring cycle, with ongoing consequences for operations at the facility.

The strike was reportedly carried out by units specialising in deep strike operations, including elements linked to the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
