(POKROVSK, DONETSK REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian Special Operations Forces from the 3rd Special Operations Regiment carried out a successful operation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, resulting in the elimination of three Russian occupiers, according to reports citing Ukraine’s Special Operations Command.
The first occupier was neutralised with small arms fire. Two others, who attempted to hide in the surrounding bushes, were detected and eliminated using an FPV drone combined with precise rifle fire. Footage released by Ukrainian forces showed the operation in detail.
The Special Operations Forces stated that despite heavy shelling of industrial facilities in the area and attempts by Russian forces to establish control, the operation was executed as planned, with the three occupiers eliminated at the designated point.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, confirmed that Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to maintain control over parts of Pokrovsk.
