(MOSCOW, RUSSIA) – Russian state media figure Vladimir Solovyov has used his national radio programme to incite the

Solovyov opened the broadcast by describing European officials as having “gone mad,” specifically targeting European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. He accused Ms von der Leyen of attempting to “steal our assets”—a clear reference to discussions among EU and G7 countries about leveraging frozen Russian state assets to aid Ukraine’s recovery and defence. Solovyov claimed that her actions, which he argued lacked proper authority, and the general European acceptance of them, pointed to the emergence of a “new Hitler,” explicitly stating that “Ursula von der Leyen is an absolute new Hitler.”

He drew a direct and controversial parallel, suggesting that just as Hitler “hated Jews,” Ms von der Leyen “hates Russians,” framing the attempt to confiscate state property as a “purest form of traditional European… hypernazism.”

The Russian dictator’s propagandist subsequently declared that the very act of attempting to appropriate Russian funds permanently establishes the EU as a “thieving terrorist organisation.” Consequently, he called for Russia to expel anyone affiliated with official EU structures, sever all relations, and revise all existing laws relating to the bloc. He insisted that the EU be formally designated a terrorist organisation, allowing Russian authorities to “persecute” its officials in the same manner as they pursue terrorists. Solovyov named both Ms von der Leyen and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas as targets to be declared terrorists, before adding a vulgar and ominous threat, stating they would “drown [them] in the outhouse.”

Solovyov further contended that a “Nazi terrorist entity” had seized power in Europe, a dangerous delusion he suggested should be met with force. He posited that if Russia observes a “concentration of forces” or the activation of “combat readiness”—factors that would lead to the “unequivocal conclusion that Europe is preparing a strike”—then Russia must respond with a “counter strike with elements of a preemptive one.”

The figure justified this aggressive stance by invoking religious imagery, referencing the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah and stating that the cities were destroyed not because they lacked righteous people, but because the number of righteous individuals was less than ten. This heavily implies that Europe’s current “mass fall into sin,” characterised by “Russophobia,” demands divine-like punishment “just like Ukraine.”

The discussion shifted briefly to a skeptical view of President Donald Trump and Russia. Solovyov noted that an earlier multi hour meeting in the Kremlin was clearly “very serious” and yielded “such serious agreements” that both Russian and American sides were preventing “any leak of information.”

Solovyov’s co host, Malek Dudakov, expressed surprise at Mr Trump’s “restrained” behaviour, concluding that the agreements reached must be “very serious” and that Ukraine is “simply in a panic.” The host and co host surmised that both Europe and Ukraine will likely be informed of the US-Russia agreements “post factum,” and they attributed the continued lack of leaks to Mr Trump’s administration having learned the lesson not to inform Kyiv or Brussels, thereby preventing leaks from the American side.

Dudakov echoed Solovyov’s long standing anti Ukrainian rhetoric, stating that “the longer the Ukrainian authorities delay, the worse the situation will be for them on the battlefield and with the final agreement.” He expressed satisfaction that the “owner of the White House”—is now “openly telling the whole world” this message, especially to the Ukrainians themselves.

Dudakov further speculated that the “Ukrainian card” could be used for “intra American politics,” not in a way that serves Kyiv, and stated he would not be surprised if charges were brought against “a number of well known figures” for unregistered lobbying as “foreign agents.” He suggested that former US Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, and “a number of other much more significant people” could face imprisonment for their actions as unregistered “foreign agents.”
