(ZAPORIZHZHIA) – Ukrainian National Guard forces have destroyed a Russian BM-21 “Grad” multiple rocket launcher on the Zaporizhzhia front, according to reports from the Lasar’s Group.
The launcher was detected within the operational area of the 17th Army Corps while Ukrainian crews were on a mission targeting another position.
Strike crews deployed Lasar attack drones to eliminate the system. The pilot engaged the moving launcher along a tree line, and a second strike successfully hit the vehicle’s ammunition, producing a large-scale detonation. The event was captured by a second drone nearby.
The BM-21 “Grad” is a multiple rocket launcher system used to provide fire support for troops and target personnel.
