(BRYANSK, RUSSIA) – Ukrainian Defence Forces have successfully conducted a precision strike on the Kremniy El microelectronics factory in the Russian city of Bryansk. The operation utilized air launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles to target the facility, which serves as a unique and vital link in the production of high precision weaponry for the Russian military. The plant specializes in the manufacture of discrete semiconductor devices and integrated microchips, components frequently described as the brains and nervous system of modern Russian missiles.

The strike comes as the conflict increasingly extends beyond traditional borders, with frontline activity moving closer to Moscow through regions such as Kursk and Belgorod. Extensive video footage shared by local residents across various Russian social media platforms confirms significant and critical damage to the factory infrastructure. Observers suggest that production at the facility is unlikely to resume in the near future, representing a major strategic victory for Ukraine and international security. By targeting microelectronics, Ukraine intends to paralyse the production chains of multiple other factories that rely on these unique components to finish missile projects.

This strategy of using limited resources to strike the most critical military production sites follows a similar success involving a Russian fiber optics factory. That facility remained offline for a year, forcing the Russian administration to source expensive and problematic alternatives from China. Ukrainian intelligence services and internal informants within the Russian Federation provided the necessary reports to develop this operation. There is growing evidence that internal stability in Russia is fracturing, with some regional governors reportedly turning against the Russian dictator as their cities face the direct consequences of the ongoing war.

Reports indicate that the Trump administration has spent approximately 5.2 billion US Dollars, equivalent to roughly 410.8 billion Russian Roubles, during a single week of the conflict in Iran. Ukrainian officials have expressed concern that resources are being exhausted on other fronts while production of critical systems, such as Patriot missiles within Ukraine, remains subject to American permission. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine is capable of producing these systems but awaits the necessary authorization, which some fear the Trump administration may withhold to avoid harming the interests of the Russian dictator.
