(DONETSK REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian forces have carried out a series of strikes on Russian military equipment and strategic infrastructure over the past twenty four hours, according to Ukrainian military reports and publicly released footage. The operations ranged from precision drone attacks on ammunition supply systems in occupied Donetsk to air force strikes on Russian positions in the Pokrovsk area, alongside significant incidents inside Russia that local authorities are still attempting to explain.

Ukrainian troops from the 63rd Mechanised Brigade destroyed a Russian ground robotic system that was transporting ammunition to frontline positions in Donetsk. The system was struck by a first person view drone, wiping out what Ukrainian officials described as another small but important part of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s overstretched military stockpile.

Inside Russia, new footage has shown two tank cars of a freight train burning intensely in the Perm region. Russian officials have not provided a clear explanation for the fire, with local “experts” stating that the cause is still under examination. Sabotage has not been ruled out, especially given the increased incidents inside Russia during what Ukrainian officials call the peak season of retaliatory actions triggered by Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities.

In Ryazan Oblast, Russian authorities reported that hostile drones targeted a major energy facility, with local accounts mentioning up to seven explosions. The plant is one of the most important thermal power stations in central Russia and is connected to high voltage electricity grids of 500 kilovolts and 220 kilovolts. These grids form the main transmission network, carrying large amounts of electricity over long distances before it is stepped down for regional use. Any disruption can affect the stability of power supply across a large area.

On the frontline, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian so called “turtle tank” attempting to advance toward Ukrainian positions. These tanks are heavily modified vehicles covered with improvised metal cages and plating, resembling a shell. The design is meant to defend against drones but often reduces mobility and visibility, making them vulnerable to precision strikes.

The East Air Command released night time footage showing the interception of incoming enemy drones. Additional dramatic footage captured the exact moment Ukrainian troops shot down a Russian Kh 101 cruise missile using a Chinese manufactured FN man portable air defence system. The successful interception contrasted sharply with scenes from Ternopil, where another Kh 101 missile launched by Russia struck a residential building.

Ukrainian authorities confirmed that 25 people were killed in the attack on Ternopil and 75 others injured, including 15 children. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that 22 people remain missing as emergency crews continue search and rescue operations. The strike is one of the deadliest Russian attacks on civilian housing in recent months.

On the northern front, Ukrainian troops narrowly escaped a Russian first person view drone that attempted to strike their position. The incident was captured by helmet camera footage, highlighting the widespread use of small explosive drones across the conflict.

Elsewhere, troops from Ukraine’s 44th Artillery Brigade destroyed 4 Russian D 30 guns and 1 Msta B howitzer in occupied Donetsk. Drone footage released by the military showed Ukrainian forces also striking two Russian controlled energy facilities in the same region.

In the Pokrovsk operational area, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted an air strike using a Su 27 aircraft, dropping bombs on a building believed to be housing a Russian assault group. The strike was carried out after enemy units blocked access routes used by Ukrainian infantry.

Ukrainian officials state that the combination of artillery, drone and air operations is aimed at reducing both Russia’s offensive capabilities and its ability to stabilise occupied areas.
