Border Guards Disrupt Russian Communications in Northern Slobozhanshchyna

(KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guards from the “Destruction Team” unit of the rapid response border commandant’s office of the 5th Border Detachment have carried out operations to degrade Russian technical capabilities in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna direction.

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, drone operators identified and struck key enemy assets, including communication antennas and control systems used for unmanned aerial vehicles. Electronic warfare and electronic reconnaissance equipment were also targeted, along with enemy shelters.

The operations form part of a systematic effort to weaken Russian battlefield coordination and reduce the effectiveness of its drone operations in the area. Footage of the operation was released by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The “Destruction Team” unit said it would continue its work until Ukraine’s victory.

The State Border Guard Service is an integral component of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, carrying out frontline and border protection tasks.

The service also called for recruits to join its ranks, describing border guard service as offering stability, responsibility and professional development. Applications are being accepted for the 5th Border Detachment.
