(KHARKIV REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guard forces from the rapid response commandant’s office “Shkval” of the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment are engaged in combat operations along one of the most active axes in the Kharkiv region.
The unit, operating as part of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, is engaged in ongoing missions aimed at countering Russian positions and maintaining pressure along the front line.
During combat operations, personnel have deployed modern weapons systems and reconnaissance strike unmanned aerial vehicles, enabling them to identify and engage Russian targets with precision. In recent sorties, UAV operators destroyed Russian communication systems, frontline positions and a vehicle used to supply forward units.
Ukrainian forces maintain continuous aerial reconnaissance and coordinated action, allowing for constant monitoring of the battlefield and rapid response to changes in the tactical situation. This approach is intended to prevent Russian forces from consolidating positions along designated lines.
The operations also aim to degrade Russian logistics and disrupt command and control systems, further weakening the effectiveness of Russian forces in the area.
Footage of the operation was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
