(KHARKIV REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guard units, supported by artillery and drone teams, have repelled continued Russian assault attempts along the northern frontier in the Kharkiv region, officials said on 24 April.
According to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, Russian forces are persisting in efforts to storm positions along the state border while simultaneously constructing defensive fortifications on their side of the frontier. These activities are being closely monitored by aerial reconnaissance units from the “Hart” brigade.
Once enemy positions are identified, reconnaissance teams relay coordinates to Ukrainian artillery units and drone operators. Officials said these coordinated strikes are targeting Russian forces with precision, disrupting their movements and preventing any advance in the South Slobozhansky direction.
The “Hart” brigade, operating as part of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, engages and destroy Russian units in the area. Ukrainian forces report that these operations have denied Russian troops any opportunity to break through defences in the northern sector of the Kharkiv region.
Video of the operation was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
