(BRYANSK REGION, RUSSIA AND TEMPORARILY OCCUPIED DONETSK REGION) – Ukrainian drone units said they destroyed Russian air defence systems including an S 400 radar component and Buk missile systems during operations in March.
The Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine said that between 1 and 22 March, its drone units destroyed 26 elements of Russian air defence in operational depth.
According to the statement, the targets included a Buk M3 system, a Buk M2 launcher loader vehicle and a Triumf radar from the S 400 system.
On 22 March, drone pilots from the 413th separate unit Raid destroyed a Buk M3 system along with its crew and a Buk M2 launcher loader in the Bryansk region of Russia.
In a separate operation, pilots from the 1st separate centre of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck a Triumf radar component of an S 400 system in temporarily occupied parts of the Donetsk region.
The Unmanned Systems Forces said that as of the morning of 22 March, their units had destroyed or hit 7,073 Russian personnel and 25,612 unique targets since the start of operations.
The figures were published via the official channel of the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine.
