(VORONEZH OBLAST, RUSSIA) – Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces (SBS) struck a Russian field landing site deep inside Voronezh Oblast on 29 April, destroying two enemy helicopters, an Mi-28 attack helicopter and an Mi-17 transport helicopter, at a distance exceeding 150 kilometres from the line of battle contact.

The operation was carried out by combined crews of the 429th Separate “Akhilles” Regiment and the 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade, in a jointly developed mission with the Special Operations Centre “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

The field landing pad, located more than 150 kilometres inside Russian territory, hosted four helicopters, both Mi-28 and Mi-17 types, which were undergoing operational refuelling and between flight technical inspections at the time of the strike. A swarm of SBS drones located and engaged the site.

The strikes were delivered with precision into the rear central section of the engine compartment, deliberately bypassing the main rotor blades to ensure maximum destructive effect. The SBS confirmed that at least one helicopter maintenance specialist was killed, having been caught in the view of the attacking drone’s optical sensor.

Footage of the strike was released by the press service of the Unmanned Systems Forces via the MAGYAR channel.
