(KHARKIV OBLAST) – A Ukrainian ground robotic system operated by border guards continued its mission after coming under attack from a Russian FPV drone on the Pivdenno Slobozhanskyi axis, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said on Tuesday.
According to the agency, the incident occurred while servicemen from the Forpost border guard brigade were carrying out a combat task in the area.
The Russian drone struck near the unmanned ground vehicle, but the munition detonated without causing damage. The system remained fully operational following the blast.
After the detonation, the robotic platform continued to perform its assigned mission without interruption, the statement said.
Despite the attempt to disrupt the unit’s activity, the task was completed in full, the border guard service added. Ukrainian forces continue to make effective use of modern technologies in combat operations.
The footage was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and shows the drone strike attempt against the robotic system in Kharkiv oblast.
