(KYIV, UKRAINE) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian long range capabilities have reached the Moscow region, describing the strikes as an “entirely just” response to Russian aggression and the prolongation of the war.

“Our responses to the Russian prolongation of the war and strikes on our cities and communities are entirely just. This time, Ukrainian long range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are telling the Russians clearly: their state must end its war,” the President emphasised.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue to work on strengthening the country’s defence capabilities. He also thanked the Security Service of Ukraine and all the Defence Forces of Ukraine for their effective work.

The President specified that the distance from the state border of Ukraine to the targets was over 500 kilometres. He also emphasised that the highest concentration of Russian air defence is located in the Moscow region.

“The concentration of Russian air defence in the Moscow region is the highest. But we are overcoming it,” the President concluded.

Over the past week, the enemy launched more than 3,170 drones and 74 missiles. As a result of the shelling, 52 people were killed and 346 civilians were injured.
