(UKRAINE) – Ukrainian air assault forces said they had carried out coordinated combat actions against Russian occupation troops, reporting the destruction of armoured vehicles, transport and other military assets during recent fighting.
According to a statement by the 46th Separate Podilska Air Assault Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, its units continued what they described as systematic operations against Russian forces operating on Ukrainian territory. The brigade said its actions were aimed at degrading the enemy’s ability to manoeuvre, communicate and sustain combat activity.
The brigade reported that coordinated strikes by its units hit armoured vehicles as well as motorcycles and other motor transport used by Russian troops. It also said a ground based robotic system had been destroyed, along with communications equipment and reconnaissance drones. The statement added that enemy infantry were also targeted during the operations.
Ukrainian military officials often use such updates to underline what they describe as a methodical approach to weakening Russian combat capability. The Podilska brigade said its actions were carried out through coordinated efforts across different units, suggesting the use of combined tactics rather than isolated engagements.
The statement framed the reported strikes as part of Ukraine’s broader defence effort, emphasising that Ukrainian forces consider Russian troops on their territory to be illegal occupiers. It said each successful strike served as a reminder that Ukrainian forces remain in control of their land.
