Ukrainian Forces Report Series of Successful Strikes Across Eastern Front
(DONETSK REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian military units have reported a series of coordinated strikes against Russian forces and equipment across several areas of eastern Ukraine, targeting infantry units, vehicles, logistics routes, and unmanned systems, according to footage and statements released by Ukrainian brigades and security services.
Troops from the Signum Battalion of Ukraine’s 53rd Brigade carried out multiple strikes against Russian infantry and military vehicles, focusing on disrupting frontline assault groups. The actions were part of ongoing defensive and counteroffensive operations aimed at reducing pressure on Ukrainian positions.
Drone operators from the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade reported the destruction of Russian military equipment, field hideouts, and personnel in the Donetsk region. The brigade stated that unmanned aerial vehicles were used to locate and strike targets with precision, limiting the need for direct engagement.
In a separate operation, a Ukrainian Air Force MiG 29 pilot destroyed a key bridge near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region using AASM Hammer guided bombs. Ukrainian officials said the bridge had been used by Russian forces as a logistics route and as a temporary shelter for assault units. Its destruction is expected to complicate Russian supply movements in the area.
Footage released by Ukrainian sources also shows a MiG fighter aircraft dropping two 500 pound glide bombs on a group identified as Russian drone operators, further highlighting Ukraine’s use of precision air strikes to counter unmanned threats.
Ground based drone units from the 57th Brigade reported destroying two Russian ground robotic systems in the Vovchansk area. Meanwhile, video published by the 414th Brigade, known as Magyar’s Birds, showed the destruction of a Russian vehicle column in the Pokrovsk region.
The unmanned aerial vehicle unit of Ukraine’s Separate Presidential Brigade said it destroyed a Russian vehicle and its crew as they attempted to approach Ukrainian defensive positions. In another incident near Huliaipole, Ukrainian forces from the 225th Assault Regiment ambushed and killed three Russian soldiers during a close range engagement. The same strike reportedly led to the elimination of three additional Russian troops through follow up drone attacks.
Elsewhere, Ukraine’s Security Service released footage showing strikes on Russian tanks, artillery systems, and air defence assets. The Ukrainian Steel Border Guards also reported destroying two Russian tanks near the Kursk area, indicating continued cross border pressure on Russian military equipment.
Near Pokrovsk, a Ukrainian Su 27 fighter jet carried out a precision air strike on Russian positions, adding to a broader pattern of combined air and drone operations aimed at weakening Russian operational capacity along key sections of the front.
