(DONETSK REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian Defence Forces report continued resistance against Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk agglomeration as of 14:00 on 12 November.
A recent assault by Russian forces along the Selidove–Pokrovsk route, involving light vehicles, achieved only partial success. Ukrainian forces destroyed some of the enemy’s vehicles before they reached the city and eliminated additional targets within Pokrovsk itself. Search and strike operations are ongoing.
On 11 November alone, Ukrainian forces destroyed five motorcycles and five vehicles in and around Pokrovsk. Defence units are also targeting enemy firing positions established over recent days in certain city districts.
The situation in Mirnograd remains under Ukrainian control. Russian attacks continue, but they have not succeeded in entering the city. Logistics for Ukrainian troops are being maintained. Intelligence indicates Russian plans to attack Mirnograd from the Grodivka direction using armoured vehicles.
Units of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces are engaged in operations that enhance the tactical position of defenders in the Pokrovsk agglomeration and enable them to complete assigned objectives.
In the Mirnograd area, one brigade of the 7th Corps is repelling attacks by small enemy groups of two to four soldiers who attempt daily infiltrations into the city’s south-eastern outskirts. Russians rely on “Mavic” drones for movement reconnaissance and light vehicles, including motorcycles, for logistics.
Another Ukrainian unit, coordinating with neighbouring forces, continues to hold the enemy at Krasnyi Lyman. Russian forces view this settlement as a staging area for a northern assault on Mirnograd. Airborne units are actively eliminating enemy combatants and preventing the implementation of this plan.
