(GROZNY, CHECHNYA) – Adam Kadyrov, the 18 year old son of the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, has been admitted to a newly established republican hospital in Grozny following a serious vehicle collision. Reports indicate that he is currently in a critical condition and remains unconscious within an intensive care unit. According to the NIYSO opposition movement, the convoy of vehicles encountered an unexpected obstacle on the road, leading to a chain reaction collision. The movement suggested that the high speed of the vehicles, which were following closely behind one another, contributed to the severity of the crash. While there are reports of multiple casualties among the personnel in the motorcade, the primary focus of the emergency response appears to be centred on the condition of Adam Kadyrov.
The timing of this incident is significant, as it follows recent public appearances where his father, Ramzan Kadyrov, was seen using a walking cane.
