(KYIV) – Ukrainian drone operators from the 414th Separate Assault Regiment, widely known as the “Birds of Magyar”, have released a new battlefield compilation titled “Squad of the Week, Episode 46: Dead Bees Don’t Buzz”.
The video was published on 5 June 2026 through the unit’s official channels linked to the MAGYAR platform, which has more than 460,000 subscribers online.
The footage combines frontline combat scenes filmed by Ukrainian drone pilots with the Ukrainian song “Dead Bees Don’t Buzz” by singer Pavlo Zibrov. The lyrics focus on the fragility of life, mortality and the need to value life while it lasts.
The combat compilation forms part of a regular online series produced by the unit, which documents drone operations against Russian forces on the frontline. The episode continues the unit’s established style of combining battlefield footage with Ukrainian music and dark wartime humour.
The release did not specify the exact frontline locations shown in the video. However, the “Birds of Magyar” unit has played an active role in multiple sectors of eastern and southern Ukraine during Russia’s full scale invasion.
