(KYIV) – Pilots from Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service are maintaining surveillance and operational control along the southern front, monitoring Russian movements and responding with targeted drone strikes, according to official footage released on 30 April.

The agency said aerial reconnaissance teams recently carried out operations using FPV drones against Russian equipment and personnel. The strikes form part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Russian positions and reduce their operational capacity in the area.

According to the statement, the results of continuous operations included the destruction of multiple enemy assets. These include:

  • Field shelters used by Russian troops
  • Antenna and communications equipment
  • An electronic warfare system
  • An observation post
  • A forward deployment location used by Russian forces
  • Russian personnel at the site

Drone operators also struck and neutralised a location where Russian forces were stationed, with casualties reported among those present.

The State Border Guard Service said its units are operating around the clock as part of Ukraine’s broader Defence Forces, contributing to efforts to repel Russian aggression and protect civilian populations.

The footage and statement were released by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
