Border Guard UAV Unit Destroys Mortar and IFV in North

(NORTHERN SLOBOZHANSKYI DIRECTION, UKRAINE) – Pilots from the “Prime” unmanned aerial vehicle unit of the 5th Border Guard Detachment have carried out a series of precision strikes against Russian positions in the northern Slobozhanskyi sector, targeting both equipment and personnel.

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the unit identified and destroyed a firing position of a 120 mm mortar, a camouflaged infantry fighting vehicle, several vehicles, an all terrain vehicle, a shelter, and an oil depot in the area.

The operation also resulted in significant losses among Russian personnel, although no specific figures were released.

The strikes form part of ongoing efforts by Ukrainian forces to disrupt enemy activity along the front and degrade logistical and combat capabilities.

The State Border Guard Service said it continues to play a vital role in Ukraine’s defence, both in securing the national border and conducting combat operations as part of the wider Defence Forces.
