(KHARKIV OBLAST) – Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance units from the 4th Border Guard Detachment reported sustained operational activity in April, targeting Russian forces and equipment in the Pivdenno Slobozhanskyi direction.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, drone operators working as part of the Defence Forces ensured precision targeting and improved combat effectiveness across their sector. Their work enabled the identification of targets, adjustment of fire, and disruption of Russian operations.
During April, Ukrainian unmanned systems operators struck 50 Russian servicemen, four artillery systems, and 218 enemy drones of various types. Russian forces also sustained equipment losses, with 28 vehicles and three motorcycles destroyed.
Ukrainian units also focused on degrading Russian surveillance and communications capabilities. A total of 24 telecommunications assets were hit, including electronic warfare systems, radar stations, and antenna equipment.
Command posts and deployment areas remained under aerial surveillance. Ukrainian forces struck 15 such positions during the reporting period.
In addition, 21 storage sites containing ammunition, fuel, and other logistical supplies were destroyed.
Ukrainian officials said the results reflect sustained precision, discipline, and daily operational effort. Aerial reconnaissance units continue to monitor the airspace and support battlefield advantage.
Operations are ongoing.
Video footage of the strikes was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
