Ukrainian Drones Hammer 47 Russian Targets in Two Night Blitz

(UKRAINE) – Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces (SBS) struck a broad array of Russian military targets across occupied Ukraine and within Russian territory during overnight operations on 27 and 28 April, including a special forces base, air defence systems, radar stations, and ammunition depots.

The deep strike operations, coordinated by the newly established Deep Strike Centre of the Unmanned Systems Forces, resulted in hits on 27 stationary enemy targets and more than 20 mobile targets in the operational depth of Russian lines.

The commander of the SBS unit known as “MAGYAR” published a compilation of strike footage detailing the two night campaign. Targets confirmed hit include elements of Russian air defence: a Tor M2 surface to air missile system, and two radar complexes, numbered as the 22nd, 23rd and 24th such systems eliminated during the current month of April.

The range of targets struck is as follows:

A Tor M2 air defence system was destroyed in the temporarily occupied territory (TOT) of Zaporizhzhia Oblast by the 1st Separate SBS Regiment.

A Kasta 2E2 radar station was hit in the swampy terrain of Belgorod Oblast, Russia, struck by the 429th Separate “Akhilles” Regiment of the SBS.

An “Ai-Petri” radio technical battalion radar station was destroyed in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea by the 1st Separate SBS Regiment.

A deployment point of the “Bars-Sarmat” special forces centre was hit in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast by the 413th Separate “Reid” Battalion of the SBS.

A hub for the production and equipping of unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare systems, and ground robotic systems belonging to the “Bars-Sarmat” special forces centre was struck in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast by the 413th Separate “Reid” Battalion.

A deployment point of the reserve battalion of the 36th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade of the Russian 29th Army was hit in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast by drones of the 1st Separate SBS Regiment.

An ammunition depot was destroyed in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea by the 9th “Kairos” Battalion of the 414th “MAGYAR’s Birds” Separate Brigade of the SBS.

The SBS command indicated that certain destroyed or damaged targets, due to their sensitive nature, will be detailed in a separate forthcoming post. The unit’s statement concluded with the phrase, “To be continued.”
