(KHARKIV REGION) – Units of Ukraine’s Border Guard Forpost brigade are using FPV drones to strike Russian forces and equipment on the South Slobozhanskyi axis, according to footage released on 1 May.
The brigade has increasingly targeted quad bikes used by Russian forces for rapid movement and the delivery of supplies. Officials said these vehicles have become frequent targets as part of efforts to disrupt logistics.
Aerial reconnaissance enables operators to detect such targets at early stages of movement. Once identified, drone crews carry out strikes without delay, reducing the time between detection and engagement.
The Border Guard said the FPV drones are being used in a precise and systematic manner, complicating Russian logistics and limiting mobility on the battlefield.
Operations in the sector are ongoing.
The footage was released by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The engagement took place on the South Slobozhanskyi axis in Kharkiv region.
