(KHARKIV OBLAST) – Ukrainian Border Guard Service units operating under the “STRIX” UAV formation have destroyed an enemy drone launch base and associated infrastructure in the South Slobozhansk direction, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine press service.
The operation marks a shift in emphasis by STRIX units from interception alone towards pre-emptive disruption of enemy drone operations.
During combat activity, operators identified infrastructure used for the launch of “Molniya” strike drones, which have been used in attacks against Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas in the Kharkiv region.
The identified targets included primary launch positions, a warehouse storing Molniya drones, a field supply depot, and enemy shelters. Two communication antennas used for flight control and operational coordination were also located.
All identified assets were destroyed following precise strikes carried out by the unit.
According to Ukrainian authorities, the destruction of these facilities affects the full chain of drone operations, including storage, communications, coordination, and launch capability. Officials stated that removing these elements reduces the enemy’s ability to conduct rapid and large-scale drone attacks.
STRIX operators continue operations aimed at disrupting enemy UAV capabilities in forward sectors.
The footage and operational reporting were released by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
