(KHARKIV REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guard forces operating in the North Slobozhanskyi direction have destroyed multiple Russian weapons systems and positions, according to official footage.
Pilots from the RUBpAK “Prime” unit of the 5th Border Detachment identified and engaged a range of Russian targets during combat operations. These included a BM 21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, an MT LB armoured vehicle, two D 30 artillery guns, a truck, communication equipment and electronic warfare systems. The unit also struck launch positions used for Russian unmanned aerial vehicles and enemy shelters.
In addition to equipment losses, Russian forces sustained casualties in personnel, though precise figures were not disclosed.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said its units continue to play a key role in defending the national border as part of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, contributing to broader efforts to degrade Russian combat capability along active front lines.
The service also issued a recruitment appeal, encouraging volunteers to join the RUBpAK “Prime” unit of the 5th Border Detachment. It described service in the border guard as offering stability, responsibility and professional development, and invited applicants to complete an online form to join its ranks.
Footage of the operation was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, operating in the Kharkiv region.
