(KHARKIV REGION) – Ukrainian border guards have destroyed a camouflaged Russian military truck and a drone control point in the North Slobozhanskyi direction, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The press service reported that personnel from the Chernivtsi Border Guard Service unit Type C continue to conduct operations preventing Russian forces from maintaining stable positions in the area.
Unmanned aerial vehicle crews detected and destroyed the concealed truck. Following this, Ukrainian forces struck and destroyed a control point used to manage Russian drones.
According to the statement, Russian drone operators attempted to flee the area after the strike. Border guard units pursued and maintained operational control, preventing their escape.
The State Border Guard Service said such operations form part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Russian activity along the northern front, where drone warfare remains a key element of both reconnaissance and strike capability.
The engagement highlights the increasing role of UAV units in identifying concealed targets and rapidly coordinating strikes against both equipment and command infrastructure.
The State Border Guard Service encouraged recruitment, calling on volunteers to join its ranks.
