(KYIV, UKRAINE) – A newly released combat video from a Ukrainian drone unit portrays Russian invasion forces in starkly derogatory terms, set to an aggressive musical soundtrack. The footage, disseminated by the 414th “Birds of Magyar” Brigade of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, employs the song “Swine Dogs” by artist NaVii.
The video’s lyrical narrative describes a mythical, pestilential horde emerging from swampy terrain to attack a village, only to be repelled by local defenders. The imagery and lyrics are explicitly designed to dehumanise the invading Russian military, referring to them as “swine dogs,” “monsters,” and “churls” rising from the mud. The chorus declares, “We will not fall, we are not slaves. You will drown in your own swamp.”
This release represents a continuation of Ukraine’s sophisticated information warfare campaign, which combines combat footage with musical and narrative elements to bolster domestic morale and shape international perception. The 414th Brigade, named after Hungarian born Ukrainian officer Robert Brovdi, is known for its prolific first-person-view (FPV) drone operations against Russian positions.
The SBS Group’s “PIDRAKHUIKA” platform functions as a public facing ledger for claimed Russian matériel losses, including tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery systems. Such digital tools have become a staple of Ukraine’s strategic communication, providing a granular, often real-time account of the conflict’s attritional dynamics.
The tone of the material reflects the bitter and brutal nature of the frontline fighting, now in its fourth year since the full scale invasion ordered by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in February 2022.
