(ZAPORIZHZHIA OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian drone pilots from the 210th Separate Assault Regiment reported the destruction of three pieces of Russian military equipment in Zaporizhzhia Oblast in a single day, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The regiment said its operators struck and disabled a Russian tank, a self propelled artillery system and a light off road military buggy during operations in the region. The claims were accompanied by video footage shared on the unit’s official communication channels, though independent verification was not immediately available.
The unit described the strikes as the result of precise coordination and effective use of unmanned aerial systems, highlighting the growing role of drones in the fighting across southern Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have increasingly relied on drone technology to identify, track and attack Russian equipment, particularly in areas where ground movement is restricted by heavy fire.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast remains one of the key areas of active fighting, with Ukrainian and Russian forces contesting control along several sections of the front line. Both sides regularly report equipment losses, and the region has seen sustained artillery fire and drone activity over recent months.
In its statement, the 210th Separate Assault Regiment used the reported operation to underline what it described as the professionalism and effectiveness of its personnel. The message also included a call for volunteers to join Ukraine’s defence forces.
The information was attributed to the 210th Separate Assault Regiment’s official sources. Russian authorities have not commented on the reported losses.
