(VOVCHANSK, KHARKIV) – In the ongoing efforts to defend the Kharkiv region, the 429th Achilles Unmanned Systems Brigade successfully located and targeted a Russian Borisoglebsk 2 electronic warfare system. Military reports confirm that the brigade operators managed to damage the sophisticated equipment so severely that Russian forces were unable to evacuate the hardware from the field.

The operation was documented via video footage which shows two FPV drones and a loitering munition of an unidentified type striking the system. A reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle provided real time data to adjust the accuracy of the strikes. The Borisoglebsk 2 is a critical asset used by the forces of the Russian dictator to suppress Ukrainian communications and disrupt the control of unmanned aerial vehicles.

This specific system is comprised of several specialised units designed for a variety of technical tasks. The suite typically includes the R 330KMV control post alongside the R 378BMV, R 330BMV, R 934BMV and R 325UMV jamming stations. On the international market, such high technology assets represent millions of pounds in investment. While exact unit costs vary, similar high level electronic warfare complexes are valued at approximately 1.7 billion Russian Rubles, which is equivalent to roughly 17.5 million US Dollars.

All components of the Borisoglebsk 2 system are mounted on the MT LBu tracked chassis to provide mobility across difficult terrain. The coordination of the entire system is handled by a crew of four personnel located within the R 330KMV control post. These latest losses further complicate the efforts of the Russian dictator to maintain technological superiority on the battlefield.
